HE DID WHAT?!!!!!
Today could not have been crazier. The high point was when the phone rang at about 4:20pm and the man said "We just received a 911 call from this number and we want to make sure everything is OK." WHAT?! Quinn where are you? He was upstairs with the cordless phone. (Recently we talked about if there was a fire or emergency we call 911, etc. On the positive side, at least I know he can do it). So they had to send out 2 security force men (that's military for policemen) to our house. I had to fill out a report with my description and the reason for the call. But I got a great photo of Quinn with the SF and a great story to blog about. Life with Quinn is always an adventure. I love that boy!

Only True Friends....
Isn't She Lovely...
Scarlett is 7 months old and a very happy girl. She loves to smile and laugh at her big brother. She rolls her way across the floor and "swims" in hopes of some day crawling. If only that darn belly would get up off the floor! Scarlett is a good eater and really likes sweet potatoes and apple blueberry mix. She has 2 teeth on the bottom.

Cherry Blossoms & Tulips in Hamura City, Japan
Quinn's 1st Day of Yochien
It's official! Quinn has started Japanese kindergarten, Yochien. His class name is "Tsubomi" which means flower bud and his teacher is Mizutani Sensai. Quinn was not exactly thrilled about the bow tie but tolerated it all. On Friday April 11th, he had his entrance ceremony. I just love the uniforms.

Quinn's Swimming Lessons Level 1 (take 4)
Quinn is starting to make progress in swimming. He can pick up rings from the bottom of the pool in the shallow end, back float, and is starting to learn to use his arms & legs in combination. The best part is he is a lot more comfortable in the water.
Sakura/Cherry Blossom at Camp Zama
After a hellish 4 hour car ride or should I say car stopping and going, we arrived at the wrong gate of Camp Zama. The gate was open only to pedestrians. So we drove some more to another gate. But once we arrived a great time was had by all. We ate yummy Doner Kebobs, looked at beautiful cherry blossom trees, and the kids played on giant blow up slides and rides. The boys did great the whole ride there & back. They played wacky games that included grabbing each others noses (i think it must be a boy thing) and hide the cheese nip box. Of course the Davis van was left with a mess that included half a box of cheese nips ...surprise! surprise!
