Halloween Night 2009

Quinn and Shintaro met up with Sam, Jack, Yumi, and Shota to form our neighborhood trick or treating gang. It was Shintaro's first time trick or treating and he had a blast keeping up with the other kids. Lots of candy was had by all. The last pictures are of the boys checking out their hauls and Scarlett hoping for just a taste of some chocolatey goodness.... which she got!

We invited our Japanese friend Nahoko and her nephew Shintaro to come on base and trick or treat with us. The boys had fun playing at the school playground.

Originally Scarlett was going to be ladybug but at the last minute someone gave me a pink poodle costume. I tried it on her and she loved the soft feel of it and loved playing with the ears on the hood. So cute.

Scarlett's First Haircut

Yesterday I took Scarlett to the beauty shop for her first haircut. It was really just a trim especially for the back. She had a bad Carol Brady hairdo. It took all of 10 minutes but she screamed & cried the whole time.

Where's My Convertible?

So Quinn has become a big fan of convertibles since riding in his Grandma's PT Cruiser convertible. Actually he thinks her car is his car. The other morning Quinn asked me where his car was and didn't like the answer that it was in grandma & grandpa's garage. To appease my spoiled child, I made him a convertible out of cardboard. Luckily he was willing to let Scarlett ride along. Little does he know she played with it when he was at school and that her favorite part was sitting on the hood.

So on Saturday Oct.3rd Quinn's yochien tried to have Sports Day or Undokai. It started off cloudy but Ok.... but then the downpours started and it got postponed. I did get a few shots of Quinn and a video of his race. Quinn is the one on the far right side of the race.

Scarlett has started to take a big interest in all the animals. Her favorite is to yell at Ramses and of course he just takes it.
