Quinn got some Fun Dip candy for Halloween and enjoyed eating it. But he said to me, "I'm eating litter". The speech pathologist in me of course assumed he was having trouble saying a consonant cluster and helped him say "GLITTER". But he said, "No Mommy. Not glitter, litter.... like the cat goes poop in." Needless to say we had a discussion about that.

The Mighty Quinn Dance
At least three times a week we listen to Manfred Mann's "Quinn the Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn)". Our Quinn always says, "play my song" and he goes to town dancing. Each time the dance is a little different and has definitely evolved as he has gotten older. So enjoy Quinn's interpretive dance with Scarlett clapping along.
First Time Geocaching with Daddy
So today we took Daddy geocaching for the first time. The weather was beautiful and we were able to find 1 out of the 2 caches we tried to find. But I'm happy because the first cache was hidden on the grounds of a shrine which means I also got a stamp in my book ( i only need 2 more stamp to complete it. For those that don't know about the book: every shrine & temple you visit you get a stamp with Japanese calligraphy on it and you try to fill every page of the book with stamps. The Japanese believe that when you die if you bury the book with you, you will be forgiven 1 sin. I figure it's worth a try). The other bonus was there was a great little park for Quinn to play at while I hunted down my stamp. The 2 videos are of Quinn finding the box. I hit the stop button by mistake so it is in 2 parts. The last picture is Scarlett waiting patiently in the car with snacks, of course, while daddy & Quinn hunted for the second cache.
