Time with Grandma and Grandpa in November

During our visit to Grandma and Grandpa Martyniak's house, we visited an animal sanctuary, a clydesdale farm and watched a horse get a bath, visited some llamas, and Edaville train farm with cousin Anthony. Grandma even went to the attic and pulled out all kinds of toys that used to be Daddy's toys.

Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame with Pepere

Another trip we took with Pepere was to the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame at the Tokyo Dome. Quinn enjoyed the golf cart shaped like a baseball and the simulated batting cage where a video pitches a fast ball at you. We saw some early Daisuke pictures and even some American baseball memorabilia. Unfortunately it wasn't the right time to go to a game. I guess Pepere will have to come back in the Spring.

Time with the Forsley Family in November

Back to our visit home in November.... I am late with everything lately. Here's pictures of Quinn hangin' with his cousins Shayne, Hannah, Julia and Drew. They were the first ones to introduce the Wii. That was a big mistake.

More Snow!!

Ramses just loves it!!

Matsumoto Castle with Pepere

Pepere came back to Japan with us in December. Quinn loved spending time with him and loved all the extra attention. Hint, hint to all the other grandparents! One trip we took was to Matsumoto Castle. It is one of the oldest castles left in Japan. The drive to get there is through the Northern Japanese Alps. We had some fabulous views of Fuji-san on the drive up there.

Neal's 34th Birthday

Quiet night with just the family. We celebrated with an ice cream cake which we do every year. Quinn was a big helper blowing out the candles. He proclaimed after the first bite of cake, "I wike it, Mommy!"

Snow in Fussa City, Japan

Yes it has snowed all day. Quinn loves it until his hands get too cold. Ramses just LOVES it! Quinn, Ramses and I went out this morning and ran around and built a sad looking snowman. We had to come in once Quinn wanted to take off all his clothes to put them on the snowman. Nemo goes out long enough too take care of business and that's it. The weather report says we are in for more snow tomorrow. It's just like being home....kinda.
