More Halloween Pictures

Hanging out with our friends, Sam the German boy and Jack the construction worker.

Halloween 2007

We actually didn't go trick or treating. We stayed at home and passed out candy with our neighbors. Quinn and Myla had a great time wearing their costumes and playing in the yard. Don't worry they had plenty (too much) candy from our candy stash. Quinn quickly picked up on the fact that the children would come up & hold out a bag and we would put candy into the bag. So being the clever boy that he is, he took off his hat & held it out while saying "please, happy halloween" to ask for candy. Most of the trick or treaters were Japanese children. So Quinn & Myla had their picture taken many times with many Japanese children. Who knows what happens to all those pictures....

Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Gourd

The last time we went to the commissary Quinn picked out 2 mini pumpkins & a gourd. He carried them throughout the store and even had to take them to bed with him that night.

Fall Festival on Yokota

On Saturday, Quinn and I went to the Fall Festival on base with our friends Jack, Sam & Tracey. Quinn had a great time hanging with the big kids, playing on the playground, and eating sno-cones.

Asunaro Daycare

Quinn's daycare had a family day on Saturday. We sang songs, and played games. Quinn knew all the hand movements and dances to all the songs. I didn't have a clue what they were saying.

Motorcycle Fever

Quinn's favorite part of our cook-out was riding our neighbors motorcycle. He hasn't quite got the concept of steering yet. It was battle to get him off of it. Motorcycles...ugh! Like Father, Like Son.

Block Party

We had a cook-out with all the people in our housing area. Quinn especially loved the bouncy.

Bowling Anyone

We had a busy week-end. On Saturday we went bowling with the neighbors. Quinn loves it as long as he can keep bowling. He doesn't like to take turns. He will watch the ball slowly roll down the lane & cheer, "Did it!" when the pins finally fall.

Kitchen Helper

I've started to let Quinn help make recipes. He loves to dump in ingredients and stir. Unfortuately the flour doesn't always end up in the bowl and as for mixing...well let's just say it's hit or miss. But he has mastered the licking the spoon part!

Don't tell Mommy

Quinn has discovered that he can climb on the toilet & touch stuff. This is the one and only time I allowed it because it made for such a cute photo.
