Banana Pancakes

Scarlett is growing so fast ... too fast. She is starting to eat table food and loving it. This morning she ate a whole wheat banana pancake that Quinn & I made for her. Her Daddy is going to be so surprised by how big she has gotten while he is away.

Movin' On Up...

Hooray! Quinn is starting Level 2 swimming next week. Check out the form! We are so proud of our little "Michael Phelps in training".

Just putting this in for Neal

Aloha! Where's The Fireman?

Quinn, Scarlett & I attended a polynesian dance performance on Memorial Day. Quinn really just wanted to see the "Fireman" that was on the ad. poster. Throughout the whole show he kept saying, "where's the fire man?" And after the fireman performed he wasn't all that impressed because the fire didn't look like a circle as pictured in the poster. But it didn't bother him enough because he still wanted to take his picture with him. Quinn is one tough critic.

What was that dream about...

On Thursday, I went to do my final check on Quinn before I went to bed and discovered him hanging off his bed with his feet dangling and fast asleep. I can't even imagine how he got there and what he was dreaming about at the time.

Feed Me

Who says child labor is a bad thing? Quinn enjoys feeding Scarlett and I enjoy having a few extra minutes to make dinner without Scarlett squawking at me to hurry up.

got avocado?

So Scarlett has been looking a little orange due to too much beta carotene in her diet (not too many green veggies she likes). So she has recently taken a liking to avocado. Needless to say it has become a staple in her diet.

Good Times in the Exersaucer

Scarlett has outgrown her swing and bouncy seat and has moved up to the exersaucer. I just love that smile!

Come to Japan and be a Superstar

Quinn had a couple photo shoots in April. He's an old pro at the routine. He modeled winter clothes for a Combi Mini catalog. Then he was photographed on the man's shoulders for a newspaper Ad for Isetan (Japanese equivalent of Macy's). It's supposed to be a father and son scene.

Who has the Best Mommy?

So we had a string of rainy days and everyone was beginning to suffer from cabin fever. When I picked up Quinn from Yochen, he was pinging off the walls (as were his friends). After a short "mommy conference", Tracey & I concurred that neither of us were opposed to letting the boys dress in old clothes and run wild in the park, puddles and mud and all. They had a blast. I must say I did get a little concerned when they started filling their boots with water and throwing it at each other as they took turns going down the slide. But no yelling, fighting or crying ... that was until they all decided they were cold, yucky and ready to go...NOW! We loaded them into the Capa, sat them on blankets and headed home and straight into a hot tub. Like I said before, Who has the best Mommy?
